MASTERCLASS FLEET TRAINING

Our fleet training course is aimed at Approved Driving Instructors who wish to gain the DSA fleet training qualification. The future of drivers who drive for a living or for business use, will, under health and safety regulations become more closely monitored.

Employers will be required to have all drivers regularly assessed and retrained as necessary. Driving instructors will play a major role in the assessment and retraining of these drivers, yet few have seen this opportunity to move into this new market area. Our course is conducted on a one to one basis (one trainer to one ADI), pay as you go (by the hour) and is designed to fit around the busy schedule of the working ADI.

THE TRAINING COURSE

The fleet starter pack is available from the, fleet register DSA Nottingham (£6:95)

There are 3 exams to pass, which must be passed with 12 months of the first written theory exam. There is a processing fee of £11:75 (sent with initial application)

Exam 1: Theory test (100 questions, written (mcqs) not on computer) cost £58:75 Exam 2: Driving test (1 hour drive, maximum 4 driving faults) cost £99:88 Exam 3: Ability to instruct/coach (1 hour test in role play) cost £99:88

First registration £117:50, Check tests are required for this qualification, although a fleet check test pass will count for ADI check test also. Our course starts with an assessment. This lasts for 90mins and covers eyesight, theory knowledge, driving ability and instructing/coaching ability to an experienced driver. (cost £42:00)

Performance discussion will be followed by recommendation of required training hours for the preparation for each exam. A written course plan will be given. Training for classroom theory, driving ability and instructing/coaching ability is charged at the hourly rate of £32:00.
