Your
licence -
Before you start your driving lessons you will need to have your provisional
driving licence (both parts). Applications for a driving licence can be
obtained from the DVLA web
site or from your local Post Office. |

Your
eyesight -
You should be able to read a number plate of a car at about 20.5 metres. |
Clothing
-
You should be prepared for each lesson in comfortable clothing which enables
you to make all the necessary movements required. Suitable footwear is also
very important to ensure the safe control of the foot pedals. |

How
many lessons will I need?
It depends upon how quickly you, as a individual, is able to pick up the skill
necessary for
'Safe driving'. |
Can
I use your tuition car for my test?
Use of driving school car for your test costs £45.00; this includes a 1
hour lesson before the test and getting home afterwards. |
How
can I pay for my lessons?
Cash or cheque payments with guarantee card made payable to Chirs School of
Motoring. |

| Chris School of Motoring can guide you through the Theory &
Hazard Perception tests so that you can a pass first time! You can obtain a
theory form from your instructor to apply for the Theory Test. The Theory Test
currently costs £28.50 and consists of 50 multiple choice questions, you
have to pass at least 43. There is also a Hazard Perception test which we can
guide you on. Both parts of the test must be passed to achieve an overall
theory test pass. Once pass you will be able to apply for your practical
driving test. |
