| For the
multiple choice element ... |
 |
Remember, you can do
it. |
 |
Read the questions very
carefully. |
 |
Keep track of the time you
have left. |
 |
Answer the questions you
find easy first, leave any dodgy ones until last. |
 |
The questions are simple,
don't try and make them complex. |
 |
If you're not sure which is
the right answer, try to eliminate the ones that seem
definitely wrong. |
 |
Answers which seem to be the
safest or most sensible are usually correct. |
 |
Try to leave time to check
carefully through all your answers. It is remarkably easy to pick the right
answer in your head and select the wrong one on the screen. |
| For the
hazard perception element ... |
 |
Stay alert and concentrate
.... The video clips only last 1 minute and you only get to view them once. If
you miss something you cannot go back or change your answers. |
 |
Make sure you don't click
the mouse too many times! - if you make too many unnecessary responses in a
very short time or throughout the video clip you will score 0 for that
particular clip. If this happens a warning message will appear on the
screen. |
 |
Remember that in one of the
14 video clips you see there will be TWO scorable hazards that you need to
spot. So don't relax too much when you think that you've responded to a hazard
as there might be another one developing in the same video clip. |
