Pass Plus - 1
Have you passed your driving test within the past 12 months? Would you like to earn a year's No Claims Bonus on your insurance within just a few days?

If you answer "yes" to both of the above questions, then you should do a Pass-Plus course.

If you haven't taken the Test yet, you could start planning now to do the Pass Plus course afterwards.

Your questions about Pass Plus ...
Question What is Pass Plus?
Answer It's a project run by the Driving Standards Agency in association with many of the UK's major motor insurance companies. It consists of a short course of further driver training. When you have completed it to the trainer's satisfaction (there is no test), you will receive a certificate which qualifies you to receive the insurance discount.  It's as simple as that!
Question Who does the training?
Answer Any DSA Approved Driving Instructor (A.D.I.) can register to provide Pass Plus training. Your current or previous driving instructor may be registered. If you haven't chosen a driving instructor yet, you might think it useful to choose one who is registered on Pass Plus, so that you can stay with him or her after your test.
Question What does the course cover?
Answer
The course consists of six topics.....
Town Country Motorway
Town driving Country driving Motorways
Dual-carriageway Weather Night
Dual carriageways All-weather driving Night driving
You have to do a minimum of 1 hour on each topic, the first five modules being driving practice, the last being a theory session which can be linked in with practice on other modules.

If your instructor feels that the six-hour minimum is inadequate, he or she will discuss this with you. The instructor is obliged to ensure that you reach an acceptable driving standard before applying for your completion Certificate.
